女人的头发不宜太长
女听众：同修梦到听师父说：“释迦牟尼佛是菩萨中重要的佛祖，他的分身现在已经回来了。”意念是回到天上莲花台了。后来接着师父说：“以后天下闻到佛法的越来越少了。”师父在梦里的开示当中有一句话：“女人的头发太长会有寒气。”请师父慈悲开示，这个梦是什么意思？
台长答：是啊。女人的头发，你看看佛陀当年讲的，为什么不让女人剃度？阴气太重啊，女人属阴的。女人的头发当然有寒气，从物理学上来讲，女人的头发越长，散布在你头发丝里的那种微细胞源就越多，这些微细胞源本身就是阴，属阴的。所以你去看，女人头发越长，这个女人越妖。一个女人如果头发短一点，人家看上去精神飒爽，这孩子很直爽的，跟人家讲话很直爽。你看那些头发比较长的人，你有时候跟她讲话，她眼睛就瞟你啊，头发撸一下啊，一会儿弄一下，一会儿弄一下，这叫卖弄什么你都知道啊，还要我讲？讲得好听一点，卖弄风情。披头散发的，你看过《聊斋》吗？

鬼出来的时候头发长吗？
（很长很长）
好了，人走到这里，头发飘在那里……害怕不害怕？
（感恩师父慈悲开示）
我有时候想想，像你们这些小丫头这么高傲，有哪个人能够征服你们？我那年到哈佛大学去演讲的时候，他们问出来的问题多厉害啊，而且每个人都觉得自己牛得不得了。像你们这些孩子有文化，有文化要正信正念，你才能成功啊

太漂亮，头发一留长，很容易下去
（是的，我刚念经的时候都梦到过。所以我真的是很感恩观世音菩萨、感恩师父救我慧命，给了我第二次生命）
A woman’s hair should not be too long.
Caller: A fellow Buddhist practitioner dreamt of Master Lu saying, ‘Buddha is placed importantly amongst Bodhisattvas, His double has now already come back’. In the practitioner’s mind, it means that Buddha has already come back to His lotus seat in Heaven. Then, Master Lu continues, ‘There will be fewer and fewer people in this world hearing about the Dharma in the future’. There was a line which Master Lu spoke in the dream, ‘There will be Yin energy if a woman’s hair is too long’. Please Master Lu, may you mercifully tell us the meaning that this dream conveys?
Master Lu: Yes. Talking about a woman’s hair—as Buddha explained said in the past, the reason why women were not allowed to become monks is because there is too much Yin energy, and women belong to the Yin energy field. Of course, there is Yin energy in women’s hair. From a physics perspective, the longer a woman’s hair is, the more microcells there will be, and these microcells originally belong to the Yin energy field. So, the longer a woman’s hair is, the more bewitching the woman looks. If the length of a woman’s hair is shorter, people would feel that she is refreshing and vivacious, straightforward and straight-talking. Look at those people with relatively long hair. Sometimes, when you talk to them, they will glance at you and flick their hair. In a way, this is showing off, or, to put it in a nicer way, it is coquetry. With dishevelled and unkempt hair—have you read the book “Liao Zhai” before?
Caller: Yes.
Master Lu: When ghost comes, is the hair long?
Caller: Very long.
Master Lu: Yes, when a person comes with their hair fluttering in the air… isn’t it scary?
Caller: Thank you, Master Lu, for your kind teaching.
Master Lu: Sometimes I think about how arrogant you young ladies are; can anyone conquer you? The year I gave a speech at Harvard University, the students asked many sharp questions, and they felt so good about themselves. Children like you with a high level of education should uphold right belief and right thought in order to succeed.
Caller: I did many wrong things before I practised Buddhism, especially things related to love and relationships.
Master Lu: Right.
Caller: Since I started practising Buddhism, I understand that all of those were wrong.
Master Lu: Yes, being too pretty isn’t a good thing.
Caller: No, it surely isn’t.
Master Lu: Being too pretty with long hair will easily cause one to go down to the underworld.
Caller: Yes, when I first started performing recitations, I dreamed of that. So, I am very grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva, and to you, Master Lu, for saving my life, led with wisdom, and granting me a second chance at life.
